Dr. Bennett took a pause from his orthopedic practice over the holiday to receive the holy sacrament of matrimony in San Miguel Allende, Mexico on December the 19th, 2014.

The wedding took place at the Parroquia and reception followed at Atotonilco, both Unesco World Heritage Sites. The mass was ministered by Father Lance Oser, who studied at the Lateran Church in Rome and gave most of the mass in Latin.

In addition to family and friends, attendees included William Murrell, MD, orthopedic surgeon from Dubai; Craig McDonald, orthopedic surgeon from Texas; Ramses Galaz, PhD, biomedical engineer and professor from Mexico; Paul Cuatrecasas, investment banker from London, England; and Lyndon Lea, owner of Lion Capital, a private equity firm in London and Los Angeles.

Dr. Bennett and his wife Lindsay remained in Mexico for Christmas while on their honeymoon.
