Accelerating the Treatment of Frozen Shoulder

shoulderFrozen shoulder, while more common in women than men, usually occurs between the ages of 40 and 50 and makes it difficult to move the shoulder – alone or with assistance. The average individual struggling with frozen shoulder can expect to experience symptoms for anywhere from 1-3 years.

Dr. Bennet has been using a technique called arthroscopic capsular release to almost immediately release a frozen shoulder. While some soreness and tenderness can be expected for anywhere from 3-6 months after the procedure, your range of motion is restored immediately.

One Response to Accelerating the Treatment of Frozen Shoulder

  1. My wife is struggling through rehab with her frozen shoulder. She had surgery 7 weeks ago to rip the scar tissue but also had to have her partially torn bicep reattached. As I’m sure you know, as her bicep was healing her shoulder refroze. Can your treatment help? Physical therapy isn’t working and they are thinking about putting her under and ripping the frozen shoulder again.

    Thanks
